The grass is always greener....

The grass is always greener on the other side, is it not?  Isn’t that what everyone thinks?  If only I had more money, more intelligence, a better job, a bigger house, a nicer car and on and on and on.  People try not to feel that way….but it’s very difficult not to get caught up in the niceties of life that society makes you feel you are not worthwhile unless you have them.  We say that there is nothing wrong with niceties but they are hollow.  If you don’t believe it pay attention to how you feel the next time you acquire something that you felt would make your life better.  Easier, perhaps.  Yes.  But better?  In what sense?  Do you feel better?  We think not.  The next time you feel yourself yearning for something you desire and do not have picture yourself with that thing, that house, that car, that job.  Did it change who you are?  How you think?  How you feel?  The answer to many things lies in this statement…..be happy where you are with what you have.  Then and only then will your life improve to the extent that you desire for it is only in receiving the blessings of the moment that we can receive additional blessings. Think on this, dearest ones.

We rest now in peace.
